The most valuable part of the course was learning the ASIM Checklist process and the integration of Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS during active shooter incidents. Understanding the priorities of stopping the killing, stopping the dying, and coordinating rescue operations provided practical knowledge that can save lives during a critical event.

All portions of the course provided valuable information. While some concepts reviewed were familiar from previous training, the course served as an effective refresher and reinforced best practices for active shooter response.

Excellent course with relevant and realistic content. Additional scenario-based exercises and case studies involving multi-agency coordination would further enhance the learning experience and help reinforce the concepts presented.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Additional Rescue Task Force (RTF) training, Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), Unified Command/ICS exercises, and full-scale active shooter response scenarios involving Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS would be the most beneficial follow-up training. These topics would help further develop operational readiness and interagency coordination.
