I do believe that at times the instructors could allow the students to do it their (students) and then guide them towards the ASIM way. At times failure or lack of proficiency is the best way to teach a lesson.

Additional NIMS would be helpful.

It may be necessary to do more face to face comunications as in real world rather than through other means. This may lend itself to more accurate information and time.
