Staffing different roles in the system and learning their roles.

Playing video games did not enhance my tactical ability or give realistic situations since I cannot talk to those around me and communicate with other responders to take care of the problem(s).

There were times when I was not involved in any aspect of the program and was just waiting to be dispatched, at least once I never was and just stood around waiting for an hour for the scenario to finish.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

The other aspects of responding to active shooter, arrival and size up, communication upon entry to the site, more force protection training with fire and medics leading to reunification.

No one really communicated with dispatch that much. In reality dispatch is the backbone of everything. Officers are always asking questions and need assistance in what to do next. This was not the case for the past 3 days.
