I feel that as a dispatcher, getting to be involved with the scenarios was most beneficial because it helped me to understand the actual operations of these events. I know how to work intensive traffic, but I like to see all elements to give me a well rounded understanding.

I think there should be an option for dispatchers to role play as well, since we do have some valuable knowledge to bring to the table.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I feel that the FBI offered negotiator training would be very beneficial for all of my center to take.

How we do "tactics" here in AZ differs immensely from how the instructors taught us. This caused some frustration amongst the participants.

Allowing us to run a scene how we would normally do it would be very beneficial for the agencies who attended.

I felt like the use of the video games was more challenging than the course content, and was a distraction. Maybe a slow speed simulator with class participation would enhance the experience.

The lectures and modules were the most valuable because the instructors did a great job.

The scenarios on the laptops were the least valuable. I feel like there could be more hands on type scenarios.

Having more hands on scenarios and distributing assignments better, I repeated assignments and was unable to do assignments I would have wanted to do.

Active shooting is the most important training that I have completed.
