The first on scene seemed less valuable on the computer especially since i participated in live scenarios two weeks ago in department in service training.

There may have been a few too many practicals. The practicals were unrealistic as far as communication, but that may not be able to be helped.

The area command portion. In a CCA, it is imperative to understand the purpose of the AC.

The case studies, while it is important to know the history, it provided value, but not as much as the other modules.

This was a very realistic course, some of the best training i've received since being in law enforcement for 15 years. Only suggestion is increasing the volume of the shots being fired and explosions to add the affect of realism.

The practical exercises were good. The "video game" had its challenges but was mostly effective.

The Miami instructor was kind of a jerk. Different instructors would try to interject during the scenario and gave conflicting information, which compounded the frustration of bad radios, a glitchy video game platform, and the general chaos of the situation.

More attention should be paid to not assigning the same people to the same roles over and over again. I also think that there were some people considered LEO in the class that probably shouldn't be.
