The reps in command area roles.

Some of the topics seemed unrelated to a lot of the command stuff, such as IEDs. That's good information, but didn't seem to fit with the overall Incident Command subject.

This could easily be a four or five day course with more reps and scenarios.

I feel the model could be reorganized a little better. Tactical seems redundant and Intel should be given more info from an instructor periodically as if we were researching it and able to relay to command to effect change in the scenario.

The cross training exercises were excellent. The ability to work with others in my region was invaluable.

More attention could be given to where different skill levels are initially assigned. Throwing a deputy into scene command for the first exercise is maybe less effective than sending him with an RTF.

OPen-ended questions as an instructional method have been repeatedly found to be ineffective. Teach, then ask.
