Make the jobs more specific to the resources available in the areas you teach in. Here it is not realistic to have six dudes for security on an RTF doing nothing; we don't have that many people until we call in mutual aid from hours away.

It was referenced on day 2 that the tactics taught during the course were used in a recent event. After mentioning that generic AI generated radio traffic was utilized. I would have liked to have heard the actual radio traffic from the agency that utilized the teachings in the course during the active shooter incident they worked.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Anything involving active shooter being I am a school resource officer.

The command portion of the practical exercises. I have limited command post experience, so being able to replicate command structures in a static environment was beneficial.

The computer POV roles were neat, but the controls (driving in particular) were a hinderance to the actual goal. Neat concept - could just be fine tuned for a more seamless experience.

Some of the instructors did not seem as engaged and often times some information would not be delivered relevant to the scenarios in the appropriate amount of time. An example is what building were out of play in the system, things like that.
