Being in a room with all different types of responders helped encourage coordination and was a great opportunity.

Being an EM, it was a bit difficult to find major purpose in the simulations, but it would be somewhat similar to real life.

Case studies and AARs; it's not hypothetical "what ifs" but very real experiences to learn from.

Trying to pretend big huge bad major events are going to happen in a rural county. We may be called in to assist with Denver, but it's not realistic to expect that ability to react here in Weld County.

Increase available technology; Area Command should've had a dispatch screen available so we would know what was where. Have someone (instructor) managing resources to create those "phantom ghost units.".

Need to look closer and NIMS compliance, common terminology in regards to communication and chain of command, use of area command and the EOC.

Communication is key, and was still a problem even at the last exercise, we will all continue to work on this issue.
