The computer based fireRTF response was very difficult. Keeping track of your location with your designated LE and keepign track of where you were on the map was very difficult for someone who doesn't game.

TCCC and joint training with local LE agencies.

INTERDICIPLINARY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS ARE CRUICIAL FOR A STRONG RESPONSE. THIS WAS STRESSED THROUGHOUT THE CLASS AND WAS LARGELY BENIFICIAL TO PRACTICE.

All information provided was important to have a strong foundation as an Emergency Responder.

Instructors were very confident in their fields of expertise and were excellent resources at each station. This made it a positive learning environment and allowed everyone to benefit.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Working with law enforcement to practice our new skills. Trauma care is also important training to increase survivability of people in active shooter incidents.

The interaction with LEO. For too long, EMS and LEO did not have the interaction necessary to carry out the type of events that were taught through this course. However, this course fostered a collaboration between the two professions.

I think every aspect of this course was valuable.

To make it more similar to that of a real life experience, I would suggest moving the IC positions, Staging etc. to separate rooms, so that we 100% rely on radio and telephone communication as that is the norm.

Courses that further foster a working relationship between Fire, EMS and PD.

I found that the complex coordinated attack was the most valuable due to it adding all the previous sections together.

I found the section about the barricaded subjects to be less valuable due to the fact that I will not be involved with that through any of my operations as fire/ems.

I believe that overall the coarse is excellent. The only thing that I would add is the further explanation of direct and indirect threat care and the appropriate locations for that to be done.

I would like to see further training between schools and fire/ems in regards to this type of training.
