The practical exercises did a really good job of emphasizing what was covered in the lecture and also served as hands-on teaching moments. Good for reaching a variety of learning styles.

The course seemed extremely tactical at first, which doesn't apply to my EM role. However, once the exercises began, it was made very clear where each group fit into the system and it worked well.

Interactive learning environment.

Not integrating emegency management into the practical exercises through the sccenarios. We joined of our own accord to be included but didn't have preassigned roles.

Being able to tweak some of the content to be applicable to the jurisidiction that the course is being conducted in. At minimum taking into consider state laws which are applicable to jurisdiction issues.
