Interactive practicals.

The class size was small and lacking LEO so we had down time when the LEO component had to be cycled through without effective intel and results compared to having actual numbers.

On the first day to day and a half, let the students work the practicals but pause every 2 to 2.5 minutes to give coaching. Lowers the confusion and lost info.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

You could apply this type of training to events like major street protests in VA and such.

Various Role Play scenarios - it was very beneficial to employ the different skill sets to the various portions of the command and control functions.

Radio usage was problematic and sometimes hampered the process - but it was also a positive training aid as it helped to split the areas of the class and provided legitimate stressor to the scenarios.

The only thing that I can think of is to provide a little more depth to the case study portion - as some of the real life situations show the benefits of utilizing this management system.
