The scenarios, the pace and the stress.

Wish we had more instruction prior to starting the exercises as to our goals and objectives as well as some of the terminology. It added to the stress which was good, but I felt I could have learned more by applying the correct principles as opposed to making mistakes.

Set the goals and objecti each station prior to starting the exercise and have the instructor stay on scene to provide guidance.

The interaction with LEO. For too long, EMS and LEO did not have the interaction necessary to carry out the type of events that were taught through this course. However, this course fostered a collaboration between the two professions.

I think every aspect of this course was valuable.

To make it more similar to that of a real life experience, I would suggest moving the IC positions, Staging etc. to separate rooms, so that we 100% rely on radio and telephone communication as that is the norm.

Courses that further foster a working relationship between Fire, EMS and PD.
