I am a relatively new officer. It was good to get an idea of issues my supervisors are dealing with when addressing larger incidents.

I only had one assignment that was higher than a patrol officer. It would have been nice to work at some of the other levels during the training.

There needs to be different characters in the simulation. It is really hard to tell who is who when there are multiple officers or fire fighters in the same location.

The rank/skill level was not uniformly distributed on the scenarios. My role as an administrator/manager in real life was not in proportion to the number of perimeter jobs I received.

Transitioning this type of ongoing scenario training to local fire/ems/law enforcement.

Being on the Tactical, IC, and Area Command Sections.

I did not like the computer sections as in my position I would be in IC or Tactical. However, needing to communicate amongst the Contact and RTF teams was valuable.

As a supervisor, I would have liked to experienced the IC and Tactical section twice.

Tactical. Understanding the roles of Transport and Triage better would be beneficial.

Getting to participate with multidisiplinary partners and getting to see their priorities and focus compared to others.

The area command exercise seems underwhelming due to the lack of information or technology in the area command room. Area Command is blind to all intel and becomes more of a hinderance than a support system.

I strongly recommend EMS be consulted as a separate response profession, and not just a transport resource. EMS seems to be withheld for a long time for the sake of safety for the EMS crews, but they need to be moved in faster.

We will take this back to our local area and redesign what makes sense to our response area.

I beilive this is a good course, with that I do see the development of training scars that would come throuh with this such as: airing HIPPA information over the radio, the use of triage tags by law enfourcemnt, and missing communications based on non "physical" hand on training.

I belive with this course you need real hands on training of moving patients and triaging inuries.
