The practical portions for sure. I'm new to this field so I felt it was valuable experience.

The lectures, but only because I have a short attention span. They weren't that bad to be honest.

Sometimes the powerpoints did not follow along with the participant guide, which got confusing. But the instructors were still able to teach effectively.

The simulations and hands-on exercises really put you in the mindset of exercising real-world situations.

I struggled catching up with first responder language. I would have liked to have a little more education and context coming into the course. My position primarily resides in government administration and a lot of the language wasn't second nature.

I think having everyone pause to listen to the media briefings or doing those at the end may be helpful for context of what is going out to the public.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I am going to Basic PIO training with FEMA in December. I'm hoping this course enhances my knowledge for that training.
