The Practical Exercises were the most useful. Getting to practice and work through the different roles really highlighted some of the weak points that would be present in a real world response, this led to a better understanding of how to attack the weak points and make them stronger.

Which part(s) of the course was LEAST valuable to you? Please explain why.

Working on complex attacks with boards and chips served a purpose but was not the best part of the class. I understand their importance and why they need to be simulated that way, however I did not like this portion.

Working on a simulation that can be ran via technology rather than the boards is my only suggestion. Other than that, this class was very useful and relevant information.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Additional practical exercises to practice the different roles that would likely be the one I would play in the real world would be most helpful to me.

Spead out the command/tactical assignments, I did not get any of those skills.

Too much of an LE focus to the class, could have covered the FD portion in 2 days.

I would like to have seen more dedicated teaching to the Fire side of response, was mostly LE.

Not sure, continue to try and practice in the hopes that I am never on one of these calls.

Practice being put in different situations that are likely in the future ie. transport, staging etc.

I felt like the class could have been shorter with a smaller class size. I spent several evolutions conducting ambulance transports which I did not find helpful in my current supervisor position.
