The simulations were very good, and being put in charge of Transport greatly increased my understanding of the operation as an EMT.

When I was assigned as a firefighter and then part of an RTF, I stood around a lot during the simulation. There was a breakdown in communication which meant I really didn't do anything of use. I would not be part of an RTF, not having the training, so it didn't really increase my capability of responding to the event.

The only issue i had was the constant use of abbreviations in a field that is newer to me.

My intent is to get on a FRT, the medical training req will be my next step.
