Understanding the different chain of commands was vital to me and understanding what your job is as a first responder. Once multiple officers/resources arrive on scene i felt it was very helpful to understand who is assigned to which role from contact, rescue, evacuation and medical.

Which part(s) of the course was LEAST valuable to you? Please explain why.

I like going into the medical point of view in terms of emergency services, however i feel as a first responder being Law Enforcement it is more critical to understand your role rather than focusing on the jobs of medical groups and how they function.

I would include more short videos as provided which help digest the information easier.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Maybe seeing real world command posts and radio talk from active shooter situations, so the learner may see how multiple commands function as tasks and assignments change.

I think this was broke down into detailed sections really good.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Unfortunately with this day in time and how people are we really need to start hands on training for these types of incidents. Only way to improve is to practice it.

Regarding the 5th arriving LEO as the one who takes Tactical Command, emphasize that it doesn't have to be the specific 5th arrival, but one who arrives after comms have revealed threat is neutralized and the management of additional arriving resources needs to be done by whoever next arrives.
