Running through a practical scenario and seeing each step broken down during an active shooter event was very beneficial to me.

I prefer to learn hands on. Going through power points to learn something isn't as helpful for me.

I think this course was run very well. I enjoyed running the scenarios. I wish there was more time to run more scenarios to be able to learn each of the roles more efficiently.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would like to take a similar courses to grow my knowledge on active shooters. Id like to become more familiar and trained on these events.

The practical board game allowed our class to not only apply and practice the knowledge we had learned during the course but it also allowed us to gain more experience and practice using the radio and understanding how to effectively communicate as a team during a stressful and chaotic situation.
