I think that the area command/CCA scenarios were the most valuable to me and my learning. As an Emergency Manager, I think that there was the most use for us there, and we were able to apply our skills.

I think that the scenarios in which Emergency Management was not used were the least valuable. We were just serving as scribes, and not applying the skill set we have.

I think maybe some longer scenarios, and maybe a few additional times for Emergency Management to be involved, specifically reunification.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I think that the next important training would be a course on the EM components of an active shooter environment, such as stakeholder communication, reunification, etc.

In IC and Area Command, including Emergency Management to fit the exercises needs. As well as learning what all of the different section did.

I don't think any of it was less valuable. It was all great and helpful.

I would recommend including EM more and adding more tasks with them.

I like all training opportunities. I would like training on how to create exercises that were large like these.

It was not very information for Emergency Management and often they were forgotten.

EM could be very versatile in all of the positions, and even could have a simulation of an EOC.

From an Emergency Management stand point I would say the scenario work was the least valuable, it felt like we were tacked on as an after thought and not incorporated into the class.

Consider incorporating a simulated EOC into the scenarios if you want to allow EMs to participate. I would also consider adding notifying EM to the checklist.
