I did not need the tactical experience on the simulator, but I am glad I was able to see that side.

Practical applications and actually using radios and phones.

I currently am a supervisor and didn't get to practice staging or command more than one time. This was difficult because I was consistently searching/RTF instead of learning/practicing critical supervisory skills.

More rotations for LE supervisors to be in a commanding role. Some of my co-workers did the exact same role over and over and I wasn't able to get the same practice.
