The computer gaming simulator gave me the most trouble. I am not a gamer.

I'd like to see this training become the gold standard for all Fire and LE departments in Volusia County first.

The practical exercises were the best part since all groups were forced to work together and learn from mistakes.

Some of the lecture didn't follow the book. Some of the lecture could have been covered a little more to ensure everyone understood the information.

With not everyone having been to the Basic course some of the verbiage should have been covered more at the beginning. Not everyone knew what an RTF was or who the triage and transport supervisors may have been. Some more discussion about the tactical, triage, and transport supervisor may have helped at the beginning.

Doing the training live with real moving personnel.
