The crawl, walk, run approach of getting theory, then putting it into practice, increasing in complexity, was the ideal approach. The multidisciplinary team of instructors were excellent, and their constructive feedback was very helpful. Being provided templates that simplify the means by which to track information.

Which part(s) of the course was LEAST valuable to you? Please explain why.

Artificialities exist in any training environment, but some sight and sound separation of some of the stations for Staging, Command, Tactical, would be helpful, as they'll be separated in the real world and we won't be able to lean over and communicate from one location to another if the radios fail (and the radios always fail).

Please provide any other comments or suggestions you have for improving this course.

Because driving the avatars and responding within the simulated environment requires a set of skills, maybe let people drill in very simple situations (range time / room entry / driving practice for 15 minutes) would be useful.

MORE of this training and better perfusion of this information throughout my agency and state. Then ICS.
