The practical events, the added stress help me see where i stand and what i can accomplish. the instruction was great too, open to all questions and made sure all questions were answered.

For me personally i would benefit from a 40 hours course and the first two days could be walking thorugh events and going over each position in detail. having walkthrough events would make me feel more comfortable.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Having the same set up for things like fire ground operations, medical calls, vehicle extrication for things like command, ops and scene management. I would like this course to expand to those opportunities.

The hands on learning. The time to learn, make mistakes, and grow is in training while keeping in mind that when an incident happens rely on the people around you to be a team continuously working together!.

Thought this class was great, computers were good but could also be just as fine with table top and moving chips around. Some times moving the people took away from the true aspects of the course.

As a company level fire officer, I have the opportunity to not only be part of an RTF but also placed in a Command role. This afforded me both of those opportunities.

As a TEMS Operator and a company fire officer I will continue to pursue these types of trainings to be prepared for the "not if, but when.".
