The practical application exercise drills.

NOT being included official in any training scenarios for people in my profession as EMA. On the C3 flyer for the course, it was stated it was for 60 participants, 30 LEO, 20 Fire/EMS, 5 Dispatch, 2, PIO, 2 Emergency Managers, 1 Helo pilot. ALL OTHER professions listed were officially included in the scenarios and assisgned functions and tasks EXCEPT for the EM's.

Initially, it seemed that the book and what was presented on the board by the instructors didn't easily follow along with each other or match up. & if it did, it was not eaily identifiable. Pics of slides and slide numbers were way advance and further along / higher in numbers for what actual pages we were on in the book.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Stop the threat, know the clock, act appropriately & effectively. TEAMWORK!! instructors were amazing.

THe exercists and simulation provided were invaluable in creating a realistic time frame and environment where LEO and Fire responders needed to work closely to accomplish the objectives.

This is an excellent course. I love the way it was delivered. I hope FEMA creates more interactive courses like this. I have completed adv. and exec. academies and attended many other FEMA trainings over my 20 year career and this was by far the best.

The scenarios for sure. I liked the balance between lecture time and most of the time being spent doing practical application.

I think finding more roles for EM to fill. There wasn't really anything specific to do for EM outside of Area Command. Most of the time, EM isn't going to be with command as they'd be in the EOC. It was good to immerse myself back into an IC role, though.

Continued IC training. This was easily one of the best FEMA/TEEX classes I have ever been to. Thank you for the great instruction.
