We had a small group of students with many instructors which led to a beneficial instructor to student ratio. This helped to control the chaos of the tabletop exercises.

I don't understand why we were handed such a big book of materials to take home. It was never really mentioned during the classroom lecture portion of the course.

Somewhat strange that some of the terminology was described in the second lecture (tactical, RTF, etc) after already completing the first tabletop exercise. That felt a little out of order.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would benefit from more training on the staging roles and logs specifically.

Confusion between training here vs other places that are not LEO heavy and Fire units will be first on the scene, unarmed, and not staged. I would like to see a realistic response scenario because Fire units won’t let themselves stage of kids are getting shot in a school.
