The 11 simulations and rotating through the various positions. Doing so provided perspectives that will help anyone perform in any of the assignments.

The simulations were very helpful and allowed for true application of strategies and tactics of what was taught. It would be very helpful if the instructors could inject and provide insight and learning opportunities during the exercises. Meaning, if a student missed an opportunity to act and reduce time on the clock for deployments, the instructor could interject during the exercise itself.

Discussing what we will be learning may be different from current practices early on day 1. Make a determination during lecture what applies to fire and what applies to law.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Determining how we can mesh current practices with what was taught. i.e. In the course, Staging took more of what we would do at an Operations position. Our RTFs would be supervised by a rescue group supervisor. Again, we just need to determine how we can mesh the learned material to current practices.

I understand why units are sent to staging as the default but, incoming resources should be directed to the scene until the IC establishes staging. This will add another level of reality to the scenarios.

General implementation of the ICS system in a complicated scenario is GREAT practice.
