Hands on portion with multiple assignments and communication. Was like a real event.

Using real maps of the areas we cover would be beneficial as we all know our jurisdictions and a very large portion of the class was from the same county.

Practice at coordination of numerous units. Law Enforcement officers can be difficult to manage and giving clear concise directions is essential.

The computer simulations were great because it created an interactive environment but could also be difficult because of the lack of hearing, smell, sight etc. Could this course be presented as part of a 2 day active shooter with management.

Perimeter units often deployed then had nothing to do for 30 minutes. Maybe reassign after task is completed.

The sections on ASIM, RTFs, and integrated command structure were the most valuable. They provided clear guidance on coordinating law enforcement, fire, and EMS during critical incidents.

Some of the administrative and terminology review portions were repetitive compared to the operational content.
