The part of the course that was the most valuable was how the first responding trooper should act on scene. This was valuable because it is very possible that I could be the first person to arrive.

The part that was the least valuable was the first arriving supervisor. I am not ranked high enough to be a supervisor and that role does not apply to me.

I would focus on how the 5th man. It was a confusing part for me because they took over control of the scene but remained on the outside.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Basic medical training will be important to me because I should be able to provide basic care to an injured individual.

I enjoyed how the course was hands on, and we were able to be included.

I believe that the least valuable part of the course was the pre-test and post-test. This is information that can be forgotten quickly because we do not receive constant training for it.

I think seeing the instructors perform the scenario quickly would have showed the class how it should have been done. Most of us seemed lost because we never did anything close to this.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Field operation trainings like firearms shooting and combat courses are important.

Most of the course had valuable as this pertains to active shooters and can happen in law enforcement.

I enjoyed the course I would recommend the course not being issued to a larger class more of a smaller setting.

Other training that is important is first responder training knowing to rescue the survivors if an active shooter were to happen.
