The pace of the practical simualtions created an environment similar to the emergency scene which created realistic time pressures and stress.

IED and hostage information felt like it was a LE topic with less relevance to fire.

Earlier clarification RE: the unique application of staging and the relationship to Triage and Transport would have been helpful. Ultimately, it was made very clear but sooner would have allowed me to better understand the process during the first 3 or 4 sims.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

More of this but I will research some of the other options that were referenced in the class.

Computer sims were valuable but had significant limitations as well.

No hands on, unrealistic simulations. Two firefighters can not feasibly pick up two patients and carry the out to a AEP in one minute.

Lots of strategic value but but limited RTF tactics. In drilling AS events numerous times we have found that if the RTF does utilize a systematic approach, pt's will be missed. Bouncing from LE intel from one location to the next will create missed pt's.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Hands on evolution's, TCCC is a must.

Not being able to use our local plan in the exercise. This is a difficult add but can be accomplished with a local partnership started with a prep day.

Would love to help this program improve by the addition of adding a local plan connection.
