Instructors constantly stopping us during the exercise to ask what we were doing instead of being able to visually see us doing the actions.

Some of the instructors contradicted themselves with thoughts/guidance/recommendations. Some instructors actually got upset with responders when they tried to discuss "we are doing this for the training; however, we do it different here".

I have done extensive research into Active Shooter events. The case studies were therefore not of much value to me.
