Either the class size could be smaller, or the classroom large to create a more suitable environment to conduct the hands-on scenarios and accomplish the intended goal.

I would think a little more time would be better to have more opportunity to discuss the logistics and procedures. More runs at the hands-on scenarios to feel more comfortable and confident.
