The technology was incredible and allow the team to be immersed in the scenarios. The ability to adapt the scenarios in real time also challenged thought which was helpful. Additionally, the ability to train and connect with LE and regional stakeholders was very much appreciated.

I found the checklist to be very busy and complex (intense violation of the KISS principal). The introduction of too many new acronyms without understanding fully how they applied challenged me.

Focus on the very basic skeleton of the concept first, then push into details, adding acronyms and secondary concepts as we go.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

NIMS is essential both before and after this class, as some of the concepts introduced in the class appeared to violate the basic principals of NIMS and thus need to be reconciled.
