The command aspect and how delegation of tasks was straight forward throughout the training class. It helped line out my current knowledge and helped further my knowledge of active shooter events.

I believe that the class could be more hands on aside from simulations performed. I believe this would helped more facilitate the cohesion of Fire/EMS and law enforcement.

I would like the class to teach more on the communication between Fire/EMS and LE. I also would like to see the teaching of a CCP Leader/RTF Boss/Med Boss.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

This helps me to facilitate further learning when it comes to my future knowledge of Active Threats.

The practical exercises because it brought the lesson into context and applied stress.

The actual modules. The instructors were knowledgeable enough to give the information without the power point and allow for more exercises.

More exercises but add one with less recourses. Smaller jurisdictions will not have the bench strength that we did in this class so having fewer responders would add realism and challenge.

Coming from a patrol environment and having only a couple of years on in LE it was very beneficial to see an active shooter event from more of an administration point. Coming from a small department it is essential to allocate the resources we have to the appropriate spots. With this class I feel confident that I can now execute that.

Everything from this class was something new for me and everything I was taught was new and valuable information.

The way the class was performed where it was a power-point section and then a hands on portion I felt was an excellent idea. It broke up the typical "Death by Power-point" stigma and kept the class engaged. It was also nice to have the rotation of roles so everyone got the experience of something different.

This course was great, I couldn't remember what I had learned from the book part of the previous FEMA courses so this training incorporated the previous courses perfectly and now I feel confident and capable.
