The hands on learning scenarios, not only did it give us a visual representation of a active scene but it helped bring multi jurisdictional agencies together to work as one unit.

There were chapters in the curriculum that I felt were most targeted towards law enforcement that did not meet needs of dispatchers.

Dispatch - handling multiple incidents at the same time, assisting in coordinating different teams / different channels.

None, everything is a learning experience.

Outside of anyone's control - the radio reception was not great, which made it incredibly realistic to how actual radio transmissions will be effected during a major incident into a huge county 911 center - just wish it was a little less realisitic so we could get more information relayed accurately.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Watching the actual coordination / function of all the different commands and responders throughout the incident. Some of the most basic responders, lowest on their respective totems were able to work in a incident command position - it was really great to see the teamwork... we don't always get to see this side of things while at dispatch!.
