The practical portion tied the lectures together and gave insight into responding to an active shooter.

I was able to take something positive away from each section of the class, however the controls during the simulation took some getting used to.

A more immersive system would be useful during the practical and additional case studies would be useful for illustrating real time responses. This course would be useful to all levels of first responders.

Even from a dispatch standpoint, it is good to see how everything is good that way if we ever come across an incident we are prepared in what to do.

Thank you for the course. It opened my eyes in how difficult it will be. Even though this training is geared for larger events, this training can be used for smaller incidents too. The instructors were professional and knowledgeable.

The interactive simulations was the most valuable as we connected and worked together as a team regardless of rank or agency.

A section of training should be directed on radio etiquette. The only problem i saw in all simulation was the lack of radio etiquette, as every group were transmitting over each other.

Any training for tactical dispatch for operations, active shooter, or any complex situation when a dispatcher is needed.
