I would recommend doing a "live fire" portion (with simunition or similar product) at least 1 time to show how the sound of gunfire and other caos can actually effect a scene and to expose responders to it so it isnt the first time experiencing something similar in actual incident.

As a first line supervisor, taking the tactical command was most useful to me. That was the type of training I needed in year one as a sergeant.

I believe on the law enforcement side that attending an ALERT course or an integrated response class would be required to attend first in order to keep up with this course.

I definitely would like to go through this class again to keep challenging myself on managing scenes.
