Scenario work was very valuable; especially geared towards incident management. Most of our previous training has been on the tactical level.

I'm not sure there was a part of this course that did not offer value to my job.

It was difficult at times to operate in the mindset of establishing staging prior to command which feels counterintuitive to my department's normal operation.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Developing SOP'SOG's for these subject and legitimately working with neighboring agencies. It is painfully obvious we are not prepared to respond to these events in an organized, safe, and efficient manner.

REMOVE THE DUAL TALKING INSTRUCTORS. THE BACK AND FORTH INSTRUCTION WAS CONFUSING AT TIMES. DHS NEEDS TO PROVIDE MORE FUNDING FOR CLASSES LIKE THIS AND IMPROVE THE WAITING TIME.

All practical exercises because it mix all fields and agencies together to accomplish the same task.

There is not one place i would classify as least valuable as they are all pieces to one puzzle.

To add to the realistic nature of the course, I would make the arriving on scene times to staging be a little longer. I get the course as time constraints but that would add that realisim of knowing you need resouirces but cannot deploy them because you do not have them.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

More interaction with other agencies and jurisdictions because it is only a matter of time before it is our turn to be the next target.

How to respond to major incidents with active shooters! I was hoping more of my peers could be here to take this class, Hopi Law Enforcement, Hopi EMS and more of my Fire guys as well.
