The formatting of the course. The learn this concept and now the practical application reinforced by a scenario was amazing.

Because this is a IC class and not a tactics class. The contact teams to me was least. But also very valuable because it created realistic communication and time frames.

I am a AZ POST Master Firearms, Active Killer, and Master Taser Instructor. I study and teach neuoscience based teaching and this followed the perfect format. I highly enjoyed moving up and down the rung of leadership and having a deep dive into the IC part of this. I normally focus on the tactics of the contact team and how to shoot, this was highly enjoyable.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would love a area command and working along side all thos resources course.

The hands on learning, to see the overview of how things work together.

All information was great. I was pretty active in all areas.

The only thing I would suggest is that in a "real life" situation LE would establish a safety cordon for officers to push RTF's and innocents , especially when the "bad guy" is still at large.

The tactical exercises were extreneley helpful in putting me in different roles in order to gain experience and understanding.

Have some instruction of aerial assest that may be incorporated into the response. Air assets may be LEO or HEMS. LEO Heli will primarily provide aerial cover, callouts, chasing suspect vehicles, searching for suspects and vehicles,. HEMS can provide medical transport. TRANSPORT can reach out and ask for HEMS capabilities. Talk about setting up a hasty HLZ with LE security.

I need to understand the ICS process better so I'll better understand this procsess!.
