Being thrown into IM roles and having the ability to see how it would play out with real people, accurate patients, thorough feedback, and isolated locations. Practicing practical skills shortly after lectures made them relevant and important.

Learning how to engage/neutralize threats. Not because I didn't learn, but because It isn't my field and never touched it within IM.

Was a great course. Would like to have seen more people come, and also had more time to really get into reunification, and setting up IM areas but that's not at the fault of the course.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

This course has increased my awareness of other courses available and has absolutely influenced my curiosity/determination to learn more about IEDs, Triage, dispatch, and other ICS/NIMS systems.

A lot of the lecture was very LEO based, I understand why as the scene is a Law Enforcement issue but a lot of it isn't very relevant to fire.

I believe a Fire/EMS based lecture portion in either a separate room or a different day followed with multiagency drills would benefit us better.
