Id say the hands on portion and being put into a position where you had to take action, learning its not always the right choice to run towards that gun fire but to establish a foundation while same is being handled.

I really dont know i thought the course was great and wouldn't say anything wasn't of value.

I think some more hands on stuff would be awesome. I ran an active shooter course with my PD and they had us training in a school. I think it would be awesome if we implemented something like that in this training.

The management side of things. I wouldn't have really known where to even start if it wasn't for this course.

Eary in the the training I felt as if I was thrown to the wolves but it was all clear by end of the three day training.

It would be great to have this training with moore first responders in my jurisdiction, fire, ems, leo etc.

Seeing the experience from multiple perspectives is helpful because it gives me a better view of the battlefield and the strategies needed to contain, control, and recover from an ASIM.

I would like continuous training on operational and command level training; hazmats, disaster response, critical incidents, etc. Especially in working with other agencies (LEO and non-LEO).
