All of the practical scenarios, which I consider to be the most successful means of learning new things. Also, I greatly appreciated how well-organized and time efficient everything was. Even the post test/eval was done extremely fast, considering the size of the group.

How quickly the incident complexity scaled up. It would be helpful to have the first day of scenarios stay simple and reinforce the basic concepts.

Consider having a 20-30 minute discussion at the end of each day to see how these concepts apply locally. What is the local nomenclature, lessons learned from real-world events, etc.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

The AIIR course would be very helpful. So far in our area RTF is largely conceptual and hasn't been practiced widely and across disciplines.

The practical exercises because it helped me better comprehend the concepts we were learning about in the classroom setting. The learning "sticks" more after doing it.

As a PIO who has had real-life experience with active shooter incidents, the PIO component of the exercises were too elementary; however, I gather the primary purpose of the PIO component was to assure that Command understands their role in press conferences and how to utilize the PIO. For this, the exercises served their purpose.

No suggestions; this was a fantastic class!.

Deeper dive into hosting press conferences and handling more complicated situations involving the media, elected officials, et al.

The break down of learning a mod then doing the scenario.

Learning some of the med/fire stuff since i'm LE but it's also helpful to know so I know what they are doing.

This was the best training i have been to in my 12 years of LE work. The scenarios being very realistic are extremely helpful.

Helicopter unit should be changed to a UAS (aka Drone) team. UAS are becoming more prevalent and accessible to all sizes of agencies. Vehicle borne attacks. Need to include vehicle borne attacks, large scenes and becoming more common.

I think it would be more beneficial to focus more time on the single location attacks that are more statistically relevant. It is good to run through a CCA, but would be good to focus a bit more time on the school/business world of 1 attacker.
