Being able to visually watch the different operational sections operate while also participating at the same time helped in understanding the big picture of coordination and communication needed to effectively operate.

All was informative and helpful however the actual "first Person" activities on the computer were not realistic however I think it served its purpose to support the needed training at the Command, staging and tactical operations.

Continueing to maintian knowledge learned at this training as well preparing for the stressors that will present post incident.

This class was more than I expected. I enjoyed coming to class everyday which is not always the case when you have multiple days of training.

The repetition and direct involvement. Also, the limited number of "extra" people relative to the basic class.

The technology was better than chips on the board, but still somewhat difficult to truly simulate realistic situations.

Being able to apply what was previously known and taught during the course to real life real-time scenarios. The opportunity to get those reps is training that truthfully is not possible without this training.

I'm fire, so the LE stuff wasn't all necessary. Having said that, knowing their operations is still useful and provides perspective.

Calling Tactical/Transport/Triage "Fluffy" really takes away from how serious, simple and professional the rest of the program is set up. It doesn't hurt anything, but calling it something else, like "Forward Command" or "Forward Operations" would be better.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Findings was to continue practicing these skills without the infrastructure provided by C3, which they advised methods to do so.

The hands on portions throughout the scenarios.

If I had to pick something it would be serving as a scribe but someone has to do it.

One instructor in particular provided semi "war stories" that I felt did not contribute to the course in any way. The same instructor seemed significantly less prepared for his small block of instruction than the other instructors who were top notch.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would have to say exterior response to active shooting incidents. We touched on stopping short of the target and obtaining the equipment we would need. I know ALERRT offers this training.
