I would get a better radio system. The radio interference made it hard to follow the radio during the scenarios.

Hostage negotiations would be a great complimentary piece for this class.

I am a relatively new officer. It was good to get an idea of issues my supervisors are dealing with when addressing larger incidents.

I only had one assignment that was higher than a patrol officer. It would have been nice to work at some of the other levels during the training.

There needs to be different characters in the simulation. It is really hard to tell who is who when there are multiple officers or fire fighters in the same location.

The rank/skill level was not uniformly distributed on the scenarios. My role as an administrator/manager in real life was not in proportion to the number of perimeter jobs I received.

When we are staging but tactical does not send us out, we were just standing there doing nothing for some time. Maybe have an instructor advise tactical manager to push out resources.

There's a wide variety of experiences in the class, some Officers are brand new but were placed in supervisory positions that hampered the responses while more senior supervisors ended up on perimeter duty. I would suggest somehow assign those in supervisory positions in a more advanced position like incident commander, managers, etc.
