The hands-on application of the concepts provided an opportunity to utilize what we discussed as well as what we know to be what occurs in our area. It provided a realistic view of the effectiveness of the concepts.

I am not a gamer and there was a significant learning curve for me. By the time I figured out how to properly work the equipment, the class was almost over. I would suggest a little more time explaining the capabilities of the equipment and how to properly use it .

I wish our ICS courses were this interactive.

The instructors were phenomenal. They really seem to enjoy their job and share all the insights from their previous careers. Having subject matter experts share their successes and failures assists our agency with policy adjustment and future trainings.

It was referenced on day 2 that the tactics taught during the course were used in a recent event. After mentioning that generic AI generated radio traffic was utilized. I would have liked to have heard the actual radio traffic from the agency that utilized the teachings in the course during the active shooter incident they worked.

Anything involving active shooter being I am a school resource officer.
