It would be great to discuss Fire Dept role be on the "medical" care. Fire as a weapon tactics, ladders to elevated position for evacuation, control of utilities, elevator controls, monitoring of gasses or hazardous material. Discussion of other capabilities beyond stop the bleed.

The hands on simulators were crucial to being able to implement the skills that I had just learned in to a "live" scenario.

It was all valuable, even the fire and EMS side that did not apply to me. Seeing how all of these sides cohesively work together made me aware of the needs of all sides of a response.

The instructors were great. They were all very personable and very confident and comfortable while presenting the material and when assisting with scenarios.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Any additional medical courses are important to help me become more of an asset outside of just a law enforcement response.
