The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the topic and that showed. I also think the variety of scenarios was a strength. Having pd, fd and dispatch was a huge help - I feel like it was a benefit to all of us to have all branches participate.

Nothing - everything was valuable.

The instructors were knowledgeable and kept it interesting. The combination of lecture and practicals helped break it up and solidify the information learned. The only part of the experience that wasn't great was lunch.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would like to take something similar again in the future to strengthen my knowledge of the topic.

Designate civilians with task/purpose. On day 2 and 3 provide less and less direction during the simulations to allow for more initiative of participants.

I did not think anything I learned was not valuable. The computers made it a little difficult but that was my fault.

I think having students have a Level 1 class or AAIR prior to them taking the course.

There is definitely a need to marry the ALERRT training with this training. It was evident during the scenarios who had Level 1 and AAIR training.

The course as a whole was extremely valuable. This is the type of training all LE and Fire & EMS should be a part of.

The only downside was probably from DCJS. The lunches each day - although free - were underwhelming.
