The most valuable part of the training was the ability to get a lot of repetition in because the scenarios reset quickly being on computers.

The seated material portion was "useless" without the hands on skills. I would have have benefitted nearly as much from this class if it had only been lecture material.

Which part(s) of the course was MOST valuable to you. Please explain why.

The complex coordinated attack simulations were the most valuable to me because it is something I have yet to experience in my job. I felt the simulation was as realistic as it could be given the environment, and it applied stress enough to demand your attention as a participant. I feel more prepared for multiple incidents like these than I would ever be without the simulations.

Which part(s) of the course was LEAST valuable to you? Please explain why.

As a dispatcher, I didn't appreciate having the automated 911 callers. They weren't always timed to how personnel were interacting with the incident at hand and frankly did nothing to prepare dispatch for receiving those calls--which is a large part of the job.

The simulations were as realistic as they could be, provided a good training experience, insight into what other first responders experience, and offered a hands-on learning experience. I have no comments about how to improve the class.

I would appreciate negotiation training.

The practical portions for sure. I'm new to this field so I felt it was valuable experience.

The lectures, but only because I have a short attention span. They weren't that bad to be honest.

Sometimes the powerpoints did not follow along with the participant guide, which got confusing. But the instructors were still able to teach effectively.

The lag time on the computers, wished it was more realistic VR I think that could lead to a better learning experience in the future.
