The scenarios were the most valuable piece because they allowed the lecture materials to be put into practice. Without the practical exercises, it would be difficult to see the complete picture.

Being able to rotate through the different the positions/responsibilities is key to advancing competency in these kinds of events.

Responding as Perimeter. This is only helpful to those in the positions of Tactical and Incident command to show how quickly resources are depleted. It is not useful for physical participants.

No need for class participants to "play" the role of contact teams and perimeter officers. These are tasks we are already failure with and would preferer more practice with the command roles.
