The Tactical role in a profession that has Tactical officers and tactical involvement is poorly named. It could be confusing in a real world incident.

Being and ALERRT instructor for Level 1/AAIR/SORD this training really helped me make my knowledge of ICS better so that I can teach students better in classes that I run.

It seems more practical to have the lncident Command post and the Staging location to be co-located as that seems like it would be more realistic. For the initial actual response to this type of incident, a hasty CP would be set up with follow on units being funneled through that CP.
