Working through the scenarios from many different roles. Gave me increased perspective on what's need by whom and why.

Case studies. I don't know if they explained why we need the incident management portion of the response.

A little more emphasis on command in small units. There should be a leader established in each team (contact and RTF). RTF movement should be lead by LE, and medicine should be lead by Fire/EMS.

The scenarios that I was in various areas of the process.

It was difficult at first getting used to the computer part of the scenarios. Having a little bit more time learning on the computers would be a help.

The practical part of the class with using the computers were a good way of providing scenarios that did not require an excessive amount of individuals.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

This training is a lost skill if not utilized on a constant basis. The training should be ongoing and occur on a normal basis for our people. It is not a normal situation to get all parties in a room at the same time to plan for these events.

The IED portion of the class was very informative.

I personally had a very difficult time comprehending and learning from the computerized video scenarios.

I understand it is a tall task with many students and time consuming, but I feel live live participation scenarios are more beneficial than computer simulated ones.
